  Aberdeen Football Club, one of Scotland’s most storied teams, has a proud history in the Scottish Cup, the country’s oldest and most prestigious knockout football competition. Since their formation in 1903, the Dons have lifted the trophy on seven occasions, with their victories spanning different eras of Scottish football. From early 20th-century successes to their golden age under Sir Alex Ferguson, Aberdeen’s Scottish Cup triumphs are a key part of their identity. Early Triumphs: The 1940s and 1950s Aberdeen’s first Scottish Cup victory came in  1947 , a landmark moment for the club.
